Let’s start by having a chat over a cup of coffee. At Merilyn Phillips we offer a huge range of kitchens with many options to choose from including:

Bespoke – hand made in-frame or lay-on – can be spray finished or hand painted upon completion.

Plus we have J handle doors and doors with handles in ranges of colours, gloss or matt. So much to choose from.

Work Surfaces - we offer a variety of work surfaces, from laminate for a lower budget to Corian, Hi-Max, Quartz and Granite. With Corian you can have seamless tops with coved upstands. We can create shapes for breakfast bars, different edge details and sinks in the same material. With Quartz and Granite you can build island tops to create a waterfall edge detail with under-mounted sinks and downturns with maybe a wooden block insert to form a bar area to sit at.

Appliances – we can supply anything that you fancy. We are a Neff Master Partner so can offer extremely good prices on all of their range. We also use Siemens, Bosch, Rangemaster, Franke, Blanco, Caple, Fisher & Paykel.

Islands – wherever possible we feel it’s best to have a clean island – no sink, no hob. Then it is just for prepping or can be a brilliant top for socialising, normally with a bar/seating area. Lots of drawers, possibly even a wine cooler.

Sinks - we offer lots of different sink styles from Franke & Blanco that include stainless steel resin in colours including sparkly copper and grey. Ceramic sinks in a more traditional kitchen give the prefect look.

Handles - there is so much choice, but we’ll help you through the design process and provide a shortlist of options that suit your new kitchen.

Taps – We favour the Quooker boiling tap in lots of different styles, modern or traditional that also have a filtered water option for drinking. A fizzy water option is on its way too.

Have a seat and we will take the brief from you… more coffee? We’ll make a list of all the appliances that you wanted. What about a coffee machine or a wine cooler? Then your wish list, how many in the family and how old are the children?

You will need drawers, waste bin solutions, a pull out pantry. How tall are you? To reach into the cupboards. What is your preference and style? In all, lots of information to help us create your perfect kitchen design.

Once we’ve created some proposed drawings and come up with some ideas, we’ll book a time for you to come into our showroom or arrange to visit your home and take measurements and do a full survey. After a couple of weeks, we’ll invite you back to the showroom where we’ll have produced a floor plan, visuals and elevations to show you on our TV screen to discuss further.

Installations

Our experience means we can do extensions, remove walls, install electrics, plaster walls, and take care of the plumbing and joinery. We offer a full installation service working with fully qualified professional trades people and we fully project manage everything ourselves.

We can assist with flooring colours, decorating and offer advice on all of these and co-ordinate them within the project.
